A bold transformation for global construction tech leader

The challenge
To align with its new ownership and strengthen its position as a global leader, Byggfakta needed to undergo a global rename and rebrand following its transition from a public company back into private ownership.
The brief was challenging: the name had to reflect the construction industry and the company’s core values, while also appealing to a global audience. ‘Hubexo’ perfectly captured the company’s role as a central hub for the industry, with the ‘X’ symbolising the nexus where data, insights and people converge.

Our approach
Many brands in the construction tech space are indistinguishable, often chosen by customers by default. To differentiate Hubexo, we developed a new brand framework that elevates its values and personality. The slogan ‘Build Better’ was chosen to showcase the alignment between its global vision and mission, and its sustainability strategy.
Our approach to the creative reflected the new brand framework, with Hubexo’s new visual identity highlighting its role as the connector between the industry and its experts. The logomark, inspired by Hubexo’s five distinct product areas—referred to as ‘atoms’—symbolises their unity. This concept of growth and evolution is echoed in the playful graphics, bold colour palette, modern typeface and distinctive iconography.

We also launched Hubexo’s new global website, establishing it as an innovative leader in the global construction market.
We built the site using WordPress CMS for simplicity and ease of use, and introduced a modular design framework that allows for easy creation of new pages and content as the brand and organisation evolves.

The impact
The rebrand and website effectively unify 26 companies, 33 offices and 2,500 employees across 20+ countries under one global organisation, setting the stage for Hubexo’s exciting future.
